The 7th Annual Russian River Wine Barrel Tasting Tour
The Oldest Consecutively Held Meeting Of BMW 8 Series Owners in the World</center>
For Those New Members Of The 8 Community; 7thARRWBTT stands for the 7th Annual Russian River Wine Barrel Tasting Tour.
When: Saturday March 4 2006; 8:00a - 12:00 midnight
What's the "7thARRWBTT" all about? The Bay Area 8s have an Annual get together every March. The impetus for this event is that every August through October the various varietals of wine grapes are picked and crushed. The berries and juice are placed in the fermentation tanks and eventually transferred to oak barrels. In March of the following year the wineries allow you to taste the young wines and purchase futures on the wines.
The Original Event Was Formulated by Steve Cohen to bring together the Bay Area 8s in a congenial environment of vehicles, wine, BBQ and camaraderie that would include our SOs. Steve and Karen will again be organizing the event.
The festivities begin with a potluck breakfast at Steve's home in the mountains near Santa Rosa. We end the day back at his home with a potluck BBQ dinner and wine tasting, chatting until the wee hours.
The California Bay Area 8s invites any and all 8 owners to bring your cars, yourselves and join us for the festivities.
Registration for "7thARRWBTT" is now open and concludes March 1st, 2006.
