Wij hebben onze 5e Internationale Weekendmeeting gepland van 17 t/m 19 september 2010.
Zodra er meer nieuws is maken wij dit bekend.

Thursday 16 September:

Who wants to drive a day ahead; we arranged a hotel for you:

Friday 17 September:

We will start at 10.00 hours on the parking place of the Postillon Hotel, address: Europaweg 25, 6816 SL Arnhem.
Parking is includes, drink not till this point.
Exact 11.00 hours we start from the parking place, we will drive through the Centre of Arnhem to the River Rhine and following the Rhine we will visit a hugh Water work and a Castle(also time for coffee) and than we drive to a Medieval Town where we will have a guided tour in a 15the century church and clime the church tower (82 meters) where will have a magnificent view at the surroundings and of course we will have lunch.
Than we will drive among many castles and the River, also we will drive a piece on the highway at the end, than the arrival is at the hotel for the two following days: a beach hotel direct at the beach.
We will having a dinerbuffet there.
This is the longest drive (app. 150k) so please arrive with a half full tank.

Costs: 27,50 Euro p.p.(thins include: parkingmoney, guided tour & lunch), children we will inform you about soon.



Saturday 18 september:

We will leave for a 15 minute drive to Delft at 10.00 hours, there we will have a complete guided tour with a boat, a tram and we will also do some walking in the old city of Delft, we will see the Grave of the founder of our Kingdom, Willem van Oranje, we will vist oor famous Delft Porcelain factory (medieval) “de Porceleyne Fles” and of course we will have a lunch.
Than we will have a 15 minute drive among our Residential town of The Hague and we will park on the Medieval Tournament place and we will be walking among the Palaces (also the working palace of our Queen) and visit our Government at the hugh castle called “the Binnenhof”.
Than we can look how the weather is, we can visit the town futher or go to the beach and enjoy that.
3-gang Diner is at the hotel(15 minutes drive again) and at the evening we will have a surprise and than we will visit a nice place for the evening/night.

Costs: 25,00 Euro p. p.(this include: guided tour & lunch, but not the parkingcosts), children we tell a.s.a.p.




Sunday 19 September:

We leave at 10.00 hours , we drive the beach along through the dunes to Katwijk aan Zee where we will see the end of the old River Rhine, we have a fotoshoot, than we will arrive at the Circuit Zandvoort(appr. 12.00 hours, total drive appr. 50km).
On the circuit we will have a lunch and when possible we will drive a few rounds on the circuit as E31ers ourselves.
For whom who wants to go home early, you can, for whom who wants to see more, after the circuit we will drive to the harbour of IJmuiden, this we can visit and than for who wants, we can have diner.

Costs: 17,50 Euro p.p.( lunch), children we will let you know and when we ca narrange to drive on the circuit that will be also extra and when you stay till the end: diner.

Vrijdag 17 september:

Vanaf 10.00 uur is de parkeerplaats voor ons gereserveerd bij het Postillon Hotel, adres: Europaweg 25, 6816 SL Arnhem.
Parkeren is inbegrepen, koffie en andere zaken niet.
Uiterlijk 11.00 uur vertrek vanaf de parkeerplaats, waarbij wij via Arnhem-Centrum de Rijn gaan volgen en de volgende bezienswaardigheden zullen aandoen: Stuweiland in de Rijn, wij zullen deze waterwerken uitgebreid gaan bekijken, Kasteel Doorwerth, waar gelegenheid is om deze binnen en buiten te bezoeken, daar kan ook iets gedronken worden, etc.
We vervolgen de route met vele bezienswaardigheden naar Rhenen, via de Grebbeberg zullen we het historische centrum aandoen waar de lunch is gepland, aansluitend bezoeken wij de 15e eeuwse Cunera-kerk waar wij een rondleiding zullen krijgen en de 82 meter hoge kerktoren zullen beklimmen met uitzicht tot aan Den Bosch, Nijmegen en Utrecht.
Dan vervolgen wij de route met vele mooie kastelen en andere buitengewone zaken en nemen voor het laatste deel de snelweg naar Kijkduin waar wij een hotel direct aan het strand hebben gereserveerd voor de komende twee nachten(plm. 19.00 uur).
Daar is ook het dinerbuffet, we zullen ons daarna met het vervolgprogramma nog best vermaken.
Dit is de langste rit van het weekend, afstand is circa 150 kilometer, dus met minimaal een halve tank arriveren.

Clubprijs: 27,50 Euro per persoon(dit is incl.: parkeergelden, rondleiding & lunch), kinderen tot 3 jaar gratis, 3 tot 12 jaar: 17,50 Euro p.p.(meerprijs diner voor wie geen hotel heeft geboekt: 29,50 p.p., kinderen 19,50 p.p.).



Zaterdag 18 september:

Vertrek vanaf het hotel is uiterlijk 10.30 uur, de rit gaat naar Delft(15 minuten rijden) waar wij onze auto’s parkeren en daar zullen we een complete rondleiding krijgen, zowel met een rondvaartboot als met een speciale bus. ook de fabriek “de Porceleyne Fles” zullen we bezoeken(waar ons beroemde Delftsblauw al eeuwen wordt gemaakt).
Tijdens de tocht zullen we een uitgebreide lunch voorgeschoteld krijgen.
Dan is er tijd in het centrum van Delft om een bezoek aan het graf van Willem van Oranje te brengen , de diverse historische plekken, maar er kan ook een terrasje bezocht worden, we worden weer met de rondvaartboot terug gebracht naar de parkeerplaats om plm. 15.30 uur.
Aansluitend rijden we door Delft langs de mooie lanen van Den Haag terug naar het hotel waar er tijd is voor een strandwandeling, terrasje, motorkapgesprekken, etc..
Dan is er is een uitgebreid 3-gangen diner in het hotel geregeld en aansluitend zullen we nog een verrassing hebben en een leuke gelegenheid gaan bezoeken.

Kosten: 29,50 Euro p.p.(dit is incl. rondleiding, lunch, parkeren is i.p. gratis (als dit lukt)), kinderen tot 3 jaar gratis, 3 tot 12 jaar 21,50 p.p..(meerprijs diner voor wie geen hotel heeft geboekt: 29,50 p.p., kinderen 19,50 p.p.).



Zondag 19 september:

Vertrek vanaf het hotel is uiterlijk om 10.30 uur , we rijden naar het nieuwe Nationale Automuseum Louwman!
Dit net geopende automuseum heeft meer dan 230 historische auto’s, heeft een 10.000m2 expositieruimte, de grootste verzameling Spykers, Mercedessen, de oudste auto’s van de wereld zijn hier te bewonderen(waaronder de enige echte James Bond Aston Martin, auto’s van staatslieden, etc., etc.).
Onze auto’s worden ondergebracht in de parkeergarage en we kunnen daar naar harte lust de expositie gaan bekijken.
Lunch kan in het museum genuttigd worden, maar wie wil kan ook wat later een snack nemen in Den Haag.
Rond 14.00 uur hebben we nog een tocht (te voet) door Den Haag, waarbij we zowel het Binnenhof als andere historische plekken zullen bezoeken.
We zullen dan tegen 15.30 uur terug zijn bij het museum, daar eindigt dan de meeting en kan een ieder zijns weegs gaan.


Kosten: 18,50 Euro per persoon, kinderen tot 6 jaar gratis, 6 tot 12 jaar 7,50 p.p..
Niet inbegrepen is de lunch, deze kan genuttigd worden in het museum of tijdens de tocht door Den Haag.

Sunday 19 September:

We leave at 10.30 hours , we drive the beach along to our new National Museum Louwman!!!!(arrival plm. 11.00 hours)
This new open auto museum has the oldest cars in the world, the largest Spyker and Mercedes collection in the world.
There are more than 230 pieces of very rear cars(also the only real James Bond DB), it is 10.000m2 exposition space, a.s.o.
It will take 2 hours only to see it all when you walk trough!
You must see it ones, otherwise you don’t have seen the most beautiful cars there is!
At the centre place you can eat or drink something(at you own costs).
Than we will have at 14.00 hours a tour(by foot) among our Residential town of The Hague and we will be walking among the Palaces (also the working palace of our Queen) and visit our Government at the hugh castle called “the Binnenhof”.
End of the tour and meeting is so around 15.00 hours and you will be on the highway in so 10 minutes.

Costs: 18,50 Euro p.p.( museum, parkingfee & tour ), children 6-12 years: 7,50 Euro p.p.

We did arrive safe home , no speed cameras i hope because then i must probably walk for some time .

Had an interesting drive home with road's closed both in Nederland and Norway where the main road from South to West was closed and we had to go over an old montain road with fog, 0 deg and possible freezing.

Did arrive 5h ago at 4.30 this morning after driving a total of 1350km.

It was a pleasure to have you here these 3-4 days and to let you see a small part of our country and to meet with other 8-friends!

We enjoyed it very much and of course we will meet again a.s.a.p.!

Thanks again that you have taken the time and costs to visit us, it's not easy for every-one in this lesser times, hopefully next year everybody can make it again, but at a total of 17 cars it was also a success.
