Hi Dear 8 series UK members We are preparing the annual Spanish event in Santander and as there is a quick ferry Portsmouth Santander, we would like to welcome any 8er to join us. We will host you in a great event with typical attendance of 20 cars. Event is 24/25/26 but we are happy to expand agenda with activities and visits and receive you on Wednesday. Hello Gonzalol I am very much considering participating in your meet. I have checked the ferry dates but they only sale at the beginning and end of the week, plus takes over 24 hours at a cost of £600+. From my house through theChannel tunnel to Santander -17+ hours + ferry cost and petrol. I did the Belgium meet 3/4 years ago great atmosphere realy enjoyed myself. Please advise on hotel accommodation. Thanks.

Yes, ferry is GBP550, but consider the night and fuel cost plus less mileage.

The program in the pdf has the information. We already have a registered UK member who has done all the bookings ferry and Hotels (Debbie Blyth).

The program will be published in the magazine "Straight six" to inform UK 8 series owners, via the BMW Car Club GB.

From my calculations, the ferry should be around gbp550 and all the Hotels, dinners, lunches around €460 one person or €640 2 people.

The Hotels booked are:
Wednesday 22 nd Hotel Hoyuela****
Thursday 23rd parador de Fuente De***
Friday to Sunday Hotel Hoyuela****

Via booking, now all available at €80/night 2p. (no breakfast) (can be cancelled no charge until May)
